Via The Heathlander, a speech by former SAS soldier Ben Griffin - who has now been gagged by the High Court - on Britain’s involvement in a systematic policy of kidnap and torture, in collusion with Washington:

According to Griffin, who has been sifting the evidence for some time:

Without a shadow of doubt, our government is responsible for breaches of the third and fourth UN conventions, the UN convention against torture, and international law.

It’s worth noting the echoes in Griffin’s account of the allegations of lawyers representing the families of Iraqi civilians that the British government approved a systematic policy of torture of detainees in Iraq, on which more here. You can also read a 2005 interview with the Tory MP mentioned in the speech, Andrew Tyrie, on this subject here.
